Company Profile: Stavros Papaioannou Ltd

The owner company of Matisse Students Halls is Stavros Papaioannou Ltd with extensive experience in the furniture industry, land development and tourism industry.

Οur story starts in 1947 when the founder of the company Stavros Papaioannou (1917-2009), a pioneer in the manufacturing of furniture, opened his own workshop in the town of Limassol. He had been involved in the designing and manufacturing of furniture from the age of fifteen and later became among the top manufacturers and importers of furniture in Cyprus. Following the success of his furniture company, in the early 80s he expanded his business to the sectors of land management and tourism, constructing and managing Cynthiana Beach Hotel in the town of Paphos.

In 2012, Limassol is evolving as a University Town and the Matisse Student Halls are created to contribute to the needs of student housing. Using our extensive experience in the hotel management and design our goal is to provide all the amenities for a pleasant and comfortable student life.
